We're not going to do that to you here, whether you believe in God or not. Not only that, but we are going to try our best to go beyond what you could have gotten from another web design company.
Sneaker Web Design does not provide Web Hosting as a stand-alone service to the public, but we do provide it to anyone who purchases our web design services, a web site, or a web site maintenance plan.
Yes, Sneaker Web Design does provide Web Hosting, but to our web site clients only. Web Site clients include those clients whose sites are maintained by Sneaker, as well as clients who we design and develop web sites and web applications for. We provide hosting for our clients for a few reasons:
- So that we can develop in .NET and ColdFusion professional application languages/environments for their stability, security and power. It's extremely hard to find the most current versions of .NET and ColdFusion together in one hosting plan.
- So that we can manage/administer sites for all of our customers in one environment. This prevents us from having to learn the intricacies of the server environment over and over, such as what version of PHP is running, what's the password for stevensassembly.com, why can't we access DNS settings on who'swho.com, etc. We decided to approach it this way after about the 20th customer, due to the complications and time consumption of trying to manage sites across numerous hosting plans.
- Because the packaged services that we have negotiated are the best for our typical client's needs. We have a really good online Email client (SmarterMail) in comparison to the other hosting plans available, we have a site stats system named SmarterStats that is the best that we've come across, we can change up the services as necessary to accomodate a client with needs that don't fit a typical hosting plan. Basically, we aren't in a box anymore with a handful of plans that don't necessarily fit our clients specific needs - we make the plans as needed.
Sneaker Web Design can't compete with the many web hosting companies that are out there selling on a volume basis to the general public due to the costs of support. But we can focus on our own clients and give them the same prices for much better plans. There are so many good hosting companies that offer good services for the money, and they can do this due to the volume of hosting plans sold and the focus on hosting specifically. That isn't our focus. But about 90% of these companies don't have the latest versions of ColdFusion or even .NET. Most of them are running .NET versions of the 1st release. Yet for our clients, we'll usually beat or at least match the prices of these hosting companies even though we are providing the latest PHP, ColdFusion and .NET versions.
If you are on a limited budget, you should pursue getting a web site from someone other than Sneaker Web Design, LLC. We specialize in Custom Web Sites, specifically in the Houston and Galveston area.

We define a "Template Site" as one that a customer can purchase and then add information to through a back-end interface, such as "Myspace.com", or one that is pre-designed, such as Tempate Monster. Currently, we don't provide template sites. The reason for this is that we have plenty of business with custom sites. We focus on this area because we can give our clients a custom graphic fit that represents their specific business uniquely, plus our designs are scalable, something that you won't get from a template service or Template Monster.

We have found this to be the most efficient and cost-effective, head-ache free way of providing this service. These are the best translations that you can get. We work closely with the Translation company to ensure that the project is understood and target due dates are met.
Due to several factors, Sneaker Web Design does not provide IT services in and of itself. That being said, we work closely with an IT company, Net Team Inc, that provides IT services to several of our clients. We have worked with them for the last 5 years, along with several other IT companies, and have found Net Team, Inc to be the most consistent and professional company that we work with. We constantly get requests for IT support.
